The brass insert is designed to work perfectly with our Carnivore, Outlaw, Zombie Slayer, Vintage shafts. This insert allows for greater F.O.C. which is great for hunters looking for down range accuracy, increased kinetic Energy and momentum. The insert is also designed to work with our Screw-In Field Point and our 30, 50, 75 grain brass insert weights.

Have been using the outlaw 300 spines for a few years and the 100g brass inserts are a great fit for my heavy arrow needs.

These are clean, convenient, and an affordable option for tuning and weighting the arrow. They fit perfectly in the vintage, and zombie/outlaw shafts. I also use them in my victory arrows

Review
These inserts are Awsom because they afford me the opportunity to tune the inserts in my arrows by adding extra weight as needed in order to get solid flight and FOC. I will buy again and would highly recommend buying these inserts for your hunting or target arrows.

42 gr brass insert.
My goal was to build an arrow with ~15% doc. My arrow is a Outlaw 350 spine with a length of 26.75" and the broad head/field point of 125 gr. This gave me a total mass of 436 gr and a doc at 15.9. I super happy with that. Before purchasing this I had 3 concerns; how flush was the collar of the insert with the outside diameter of these arrows, how tight was the fitting inside the arrow, and how consistent in mass where the inserts. For this arrow and spine the collar was perfectly flush with the outside diameter and there is no peaky little ridge to make arrow pulling from targets a problem. The fit in the arrow was perfect. Prior to glue-up they slid into the shaft easily with no wiggle, leaving glue up both easy and firm. The mass of my inserts averaged 44.2 gr, with a standard deviation of just .12. the lowest mass was 44.0 and the maximum in my sample was 44.3 grs. Not bad at all! For the more particular these brass inserts can easily be ground to make all the arrows perfectly the same completed mass.

Brass inserts
I accidentally bought 300 spine instead of 350's for a set of target arrows so, I bought some 100gr inserts and turned them into 517gr meat hammers.
