Poor quality control
I always use black eagle for my arrows, and the shafts with the exception of the old challengers have been durable and accurate. However, I’ve noticed large variances in the micro nocks. All the ones that came with my deep impacts were incredibly tight. I ordered two dozen smoked nocks and half of those were super tight the other half fit properly. It can’t be argued that the nocks being tight has to do with the serving because if they fit correctly on smaller serving then the larger openings wouldn’t even click to the string. I’ve bought probably 40 dollars worth of nocks just to get almost 2 dozen properly fitting nocks. So that’s an expensive lack of quality control. My other issue is the deep impact target points. The first set I got were 80-120 grain per what the website said. When I ordered the second set the rep on the phone informed me they stopped that two weeks prior to ordering the second set even though the site still said they’re available. So now I have either a set of points that are no good and I have to find other 80 grain points like the rep told me. Or, I have to order another set and replace the set and weight I already have glued into my arrows. So I ordered a third set of points and they showed up 80-120. So the lack of quality control on the components has cost me roughly 50-60 dollars just to properly complete two dozen arrows. I wish to keep using these arrows but I don’t want to spend an extra 30-40 dollars a dozen to do it. Thank you
