To install the Half-Out.
- Square the end of the arrow shaft
- Dry fitting is recommended on all components. Slide half-out in shaft and spin test (if you prefer)
- If a slight wobble is noticed, DON'T PANIC! Rotate the half-out with field point installed until the spin is true.
- Again, Rotate Half-Out until it spins perfect.
- Use a Silver or Black Sharpie and mark the Shaft and the Half-Out for perfect alignment once glue is applied.
- We have tested Our fletching glue, insert/outsert glue and epoxy and all of them work great.
- Apply a even amount of glue around the shaft of the Half-Out to ensure the glue channels get enough glue in them to hold.
- Once the glued half-out is finished stand the arrow on the point to dry

Hot Melt is NOT recommended for use with Black Eagle Arrow shafts.
NO Cleaner for Outside or Inside the shaft is recommended! Use Q-Tip or Paper towel.

Rampage 350 .001" shafts
Overall, an exceptional shaft...accurate and durable. Here are a few negative observations, however. Weight and straightness tolerances across the dozen are very good, although I always find 3-5 shafts of the dozen that don't live up to the .001"grade when checked on a spinner. The half-out inserts average 50-51 grains across the dozen not 56 grains as advertised. And this has been true over the several dozen of arrows I've purchased. Not a huge deal, but why not advertise them as 50 grain inserts. Finally, the outside diameter of the half-out insert is less than a 5/16" field point, the advertised diameter that the half-out insert accepts. This difference in diameter makes it difficult to pull arrows from a bag style target...not so much on block style target. My two cents.

No better option
In my opinion there is not better option than to go with Black Eagle. I have ordered a few dozen from them and the shipping is usually 3 days to my door you can’t beat that. This was my first order getting just plain shafts as I’m building my own and went with the Rampage they are going to fly great out of my RX1 Ultra.

Tight Tolerances and great service
I have ordered 3 dozen shafts this year from Black Eagle. Each time every shaft spun like a top when spin tested and all were very very close in total grain weight and static spine. Im very impressed and will be shooting Black Eagle Arrows for a long time to come.
