To install the Half-Out.
- Square the end of the arrow shaft
- Dry fitting is recommended on all components. Slide half-out in shaft and spin test (if you prefer)
- If a slight wobble is noticed, DON'T PANIC! Rotate the half-out with field point installed until the spin is true.
- Again, Rotate Half-Out until it spins perfect.
- Use a Silver or Black Sharpie and mark the Shaft and the Half-Out for perfect alignment once glue is applied.
- We have tested Our fletching glue, insert/outsert glue and epoxy and all of them work great.
- Apply a even amount of glue around the shaft of the Half-Out to ensure the glue channels get enough glue in them to hold.
- Once the glued half-out is finished stand the arrow on the point to dry.

Platinum Half Outs
My first impression of the half outs was they were poorly made. Not a lot of QC involved. Weights varied from 52 grains all the way up to 59. The consistency was also lacking as well. Some were threaded on the back end to receive threaded weights, and some were not. All in all, I definitely did not see them being worth the money that I paid for them.

Good materials, needs some QC
Had to buy two sets just to get a dozen that spin well. Half of them are messed up enough that nothing can spin accurately no matter how you rotate them about the shaft. But they are the toughest half outs on the market, so that's why I run them. The glue will fail several times over, and they'll only bend after everything else explodes.

Bone crushers
Nice insert. Grain weight varies about 2grs but works well since arrows never weigh the same end at the same length.

56 grains
The website description indicates that these are 60 grains. However, they measure 56 grains on my scale. Having said that, they are very uniform and appear to be well manufactured.

Hard hitting and accurate
Been very impressed with accuracy and penetration of this combo. Shot 3 black Hawaiian sheep one ram and two ewes all pass throughs some penetrating through shoulder blades. Also one blackbuck doe that also was complete pass through on 1/4 away shot going out opposite front shoulder. Very happy with these.
