Our Incredibly Popular New Front Of Center Outsert System is designed for those that want more weight upfront and ease of use of Outserts. The F.O.C.O.S Replacements is made of 2 parts. One is the black anodized 7075 T6 aluminum alloy outsert or Stainless Steel Option. The second part is the 3/32 allen head retention screw that allows for the Outserts to either be screwed or screwed and glued.(Not Tattooed) This system has been tested to over 550 Pounds per square inch of pull and they stay on! If you are looking for maximum penetration, Maximum F.O.C and shot after shot performance then the deadly combination of the Deep Impact, Instinct or X-Impact shafts then the F.O.C.O.S are sure to be a hit!

The X-Impact Outsert Replacement Weights are a Follows:

ALUMINUM OUTSERT TOTAL WEIGHT
43 Grains +/- a grain depending on OD of arrow

STAINLESS STEEL OUTSERT TOTAL WEIGHT
84 Grains +/- a grain depending on OD of arrow

Remove Old Outsert by loosening set screw
Install new Outsert with New Set Screw

The Outserts are the same weight as the 3 part F.O.C.O.S system Minus the Post
Includes 8 grain set screw

Had high expectations for the focs system especially with steel construction. I ran into issues getting the arrows to spin without any wobble and a couple of the screws stripped out. Going back to the ethics deep six insert.

I am extremely pleased with the black arrow x-impact arrows and components. I recently ordered the stainless steel outsert to increase my foc. Everything worked out perfectly. I really like the ability to change the outserts. the quality of the arrows and components are extremely well built.

Aluminum outsert

This is the second year I’ll be using this outsert.Snug fit but not so tight you have to sand the arrow shaft. Durable and straight. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking to add FOC.

Panacea for Target Panic?

OK…I blew the shot while practicing with my hunting arrows. Buried the point and outsert into a 4x4! Try as I might, it would not pull out. But…I could unscrew and extract the shaft. Ordered FOCOS Replacements. Super quick order response by Black Eagle and they fit perfectly. Viola’ I’m back in business!

I ordered the stainless model first. I found them fragile. They didn’t fit the arrows after cutting the arrows. No problem, sanded the shaft down to fit the outsert. Durning test fitting I cracked the outsert with little force applied. I also found I cracked a couple when shooting into 3D targets. I was running the aluminum post with SS outserts. I decided to change things up and went to the SS post and aluminum outsert. Drastic difference! The aluminum outsert fit snug on new shafts, after being cut with no sanding required. I also haven’t had an outsert crack from install or shooting into targets. I only had one break and that was my own fault. ( they don’t like concrete). My star rating would be 5 for the aluminum and 1-2 for the stainless. I’m not trying bashing anything. Just giving my honest opinion.
