- 250 Spine = 42 Grains
300 Spine = 40 Grains
350 Spine = 44 Grains
400 Spine = 46 Grains
500 Spine = 48 Grains
To install the outsert.
- Select the right outsert for the right shaft.
- Dry fitting is recommended on all components. Slide Outserts over shaft and spin test (if you prefer)
- If Outserts does not fit that is OK. Get some 100 Grit sand paper and lightly sand the shaft in a circular motion until the outsert fits snug on shaft. Start slowly so you don't remove to much off the arrow.
- Wipe dust off of the shaft with Clean paper towel. (No Cleaners are recommended)
- Again, Spin test to ensure concentricity. Rotating outsert until it spins perfect.
- Use a Silver or Black Sharpie and mark the Shaft and the Outsert for perfect alignment once glue is applied.
- We have tested Our fletching glue, insert/outsert glue and epoxy and all of them work great.
- Apply a even amount of glue around the shaft to ensure the glue channels get enough glue in them to hold.
- Once The outsert is glued on stand the arrow on the nock end to dry.

x impact outserts
These are great. Not only do they balance very well concerning weight, but they have also saved two arrow shafts already this year. In the past, the regular inserts have caused the carbon shafts to splinter upon hitting a tree on a pass-through, but these keep them intact where you can dig them out of the tree and the shaft is in perfect condition.

Nice outsert
Guys you have to follow directions or you will complain about these. All the guys at bow shop don’t like these because they say the inserts come off. You must use black eagles glue. It’s in the directions. If you use there glue, inserts work perfect. No problems. Buying more to make more arrows…

Outserts X-Impact
Love the design of these outserts. They fit nicely to the shaft, protect the shaft from breaking when striking a hard surface, and match up my 5/16" points on this microshaft beautifully.

So after hearing so many good things about your guy’s products, I decided to take the dive and buy your guy’s x-impacts. Today I was able to take them to my local shop and have them cut to length and shoot them for the first time. You guys have went up and beyond my expectations after all the good things I have heard.
