To install the outsert.
- Select the right outsert for the right shaft.
- Dry fitting is recommended on all components. Slide Outserts over shaft and spin test (if you prefer)
- If Outserts does not fit that is OK. Get some 100 Grit sand paper and lightly sand the shaft in a circular motion until the outsert fits snug on shaft. Start slowly so you don't remove to much off the arrow.
- Wipe dust off of the shaft with Clean paper towel. (No Cleaners are recommended)
- Again, Spin test to ensure concentricity. Rotating outsert until it spins perfect.
- Use a Silver or Black Sharpie and mark the Shaft and the Outsert for perfect alignment once glue is applied.
- We have tested Our fletching glue, insert/outsert glue and epoxy and all of them work great.
- Apply a even amount of glue around the shaft to ensure the glue channels get enough glue in them to hold.
- Once The outsert is glued on stand the arrow on the nock end to dry.

Deep Impact 300 Inserts
Fit perfect on the Deep Impact 300's and completely encompass and support the bottom of the arrow shaft. Making it the strongest most durable arrow I've ever shot.

Love Black Eagle Arrows
Been shooting the Deep Impact arrows now for 2+ years. I am not a professional archer in any means and that means my shots don't always meet there mark. When then don't it is usually something very hard.(4x4, rock, or cement) All I can say is that I have been shooting the same dozen with no shaft failures. I've had nocks break and inserts come off from hitting things they shouldn't. If i ever go through this dozen i will certainly be buying more!

Triple check
I am very impressed with the performance of the deep impact arrows. I build my own and I will warn, be very careful prepping the outserts prior to glueing them on. I had to sand some of the shafts and even then, two did not want to go in all the way. I caught it soon enough to use pliers to rip the outsert off before losing the entire shaft. Yes, it ruined the outsert but I'd prefer that then losing a shaft. I would still highly recommend these shafts!
